They also seem like a daunting task, but fear not, I have pulled together some tips and tricks to help you make a legit charcuterie board for your next party.
2. Select a variety of meats and cheeses. Select mild, medium and bold flavors for the meat and a mix of soft and hard cheeses. You can't go wrong with Trader Joe's for selection.
3. Add seasonal fruit. Fruit adds color to the charcuterie and is a sweet pairing to the salty flavors.
4. Add a spread. Friends will tell you, I love fig spread. It's a staple in my pantry. It also adds a layer of complexity to the salty flavors of a cheese. I think it's a charcuterie must.
